About Grass Season

Grass Season is painted for the short, bright weeks of grass-court tennis, when the lawns are at their greenest, the balls are brand new, and the ball dog is ready before anyone else. It is one of three paintings in The Tennis Dogs collection.

This one-of-a-kind portrait work focuses on a dachshund sitting on a grass court between three tennis balls and a white court line, using two tones of court green, tennis-ball yellow, a red collar, and crisp white line work. The result is an original acrylic and mixed media painting with a clear subject, visible handmade texture, and the warmth of a personal story.

It suits a hallway, kitchen, or sports-loving home where a fresh, playful original can add energy.
